About the Inquiry
The Land Reform Act 2016 provided for the establishment of a Scottish Land Commission. Part 2 of the Act states that the Scottish Land Commission should consist of five Land Commissioners and a Tenant Farming Commissioner. While these appointments are to be made by Scottish Ministers, they must also be approved by the Scottish Parliament.
