Common Agricultural Policy Futures Programme

A Scottish Government programme set up to deliver complex agricultural reforms and financial support to rural workers continues to have serious cost and operational issues, and is unlikely to deliver value for money.

The Committee took oral evidence from the Permanent Secretary on the above report. The Committee agreed to seek further information from the Scottish Government and to consider any future reports by the auditor general for Scotland on this issue.
