Commonwealth Scotland

Commonwealth Scotland is a briefing written by Scottish Parliament Information Centre (SPICe) researchers and information specialists which illustrates social, economic and environmental change in Scotland since the country first hosted the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1970.

The briefing uses data visualisations to track key trends from 1970 through 1986 when Edinburgh again hosted the Games, up to 2014 when Glasgow hosts the Games.
