That the Parliament congratulates Ray Riddoch, who is the UK managing director of Nexen Petroleum, on being appointed an OBE in recognition of his contribution to the oil and gas sector; recognises that Ray is the co-chairman of the trade body, Oil and Gas UK and a director of both the Oil and Gas Technology Centre and the Scottish Council for Development and Industry; acknowledges that he has devoted 35 years of his career to North Sea oil and gas operations, and thanks him for his contribution toward the success of the sector.
