That the Parliament congratulates Scottish Renewables on another hugely successful Green Energy Awards, which took place at the Edinburgh Conference Centre and were sponsored by EDF; recognises the incredible innovation, commitment and passion of those working within the industry and the positive impact of this on Scotland’s economy and environment; congratulates all those who won awards on the night, with the Best Community Project Award going to Ore Valley Housing Association for Dundonald Wind Turbine, the Best Engagement Award going to Force 9 Energy for Clash Gour Wind Farm Shared Ownership Opportunity, the Best Innovation Award going to Orbital Marine Power for SR2000, the Best Practice Award going to ORE Catapult's Health and Safety Programme, the Carbon Reduction Award going to GI Energy and Dundee City Council for V&A Dundee, the Champion of Renewables Award going to NnG Coalition, the Contribution to Skills Award going to the University of Strathclyde and University of Edinburgh for the Centre for Doctoral Training in Wind and Marine Energy Systems, the Outstanding Project Award going to Nova Innovation for Enabling Future Arrays in Tidal (EnFAIT) Project, the Outstanding Service Award going to Leask Marine Ltd, the Sustainable Development Award going to Drumduff Wind Farm, which is a joint venture between GreenPower and Thrive Renewables, the Young and Inspiring Award, which was sponsored by WSP, going to Lorna Archer at Fife Council, the Judges Award going to Fair Isle Electricity Company for the Fair Isle Low Carbon Energy System, and the Outstanding Contribution Award, which was sponsored by Highlands and Islands Enterprise, going to Keith Anderson, and wishes Scottish Renewables and all those involved continued success in making Scotland a leading example in renewable energy.
