Men’s Shed is One of the Fastest Growing Initiatives in the World

That the Parliament congratulates the movement, Men’s Shed, on becoming one of the fastest growing in the world; understands that it was first initiated in the UK as a pioneering project in Westhill and across the north east; considers that the concept has successfully tackled isolation and loneliness by allowing men and women to share their varying skills and enjoy tea and good conversation within their local communities; recognises that this has a positive impact on a community's ethos and the mental health of its residents; wishes the Men’s Shed initiative continued success and growth, and thanks everyone involved for their great work.
