Volunteer Centre Borders Youth Ambassadors

That the Parliament congratulates Volunteer Centre Borders’ 22 Youth Ambassadors for their work in the Scottish Borders’ nine high schools to raise awareness of the benefits of volunteering and increase participation rates; believes that volunteering is a lifelong learning journey and socially inclusive activity, and supports the view that, by empowering young people in this way, promotes early participation and longer dedication to community activities.
