That the Parliament congratulates Gladys Cruickshank from Alford in Aberdeenshire, on being announced as the 2018 Age Scotland Volunteer of the Year winner at the Age Scotland Conference on 20 March; notes that Age Scotland’s annual conference and awards ceremony aims to recognise people from all over Scotland who have made an exceptional contribution to improving the lives of older people; understands that Gladys runs the Alford Car Transport Service, which is formed of a group of volunteers who provide a demand-led transport service to people in need of transport to appointments, and wishes her the very best for the future.
