That the Parliament congratulates the North East Scotland College student, Ashley Thomas, on being named by the global skills for energy body, OPITO, as its Apprentice of the Year 2017; notes that he was selected to join the Oil and Gas Technical Apprentice Programme in 2016, which is one of the biggest industry-led apprenticeship initiatives of its kind in the UK, and wishes him well in his career ahead.
