That the Parliament congratulates Aboyne Canoe Club SCIO on receiving planning permission for its canoe and kayak storage facility and securing £31,000 of funding towards the project; understands that the new facility will allow the club to continue providing paddlesport experiences for local youth groups, Active Schools, children with additional support needs, cubs, guides, scouts, explorer groups and those training for their Duke of Edinburgh Award, and supports the club in its funding applications to complete the project and continue to sustain activities for the benefit of members and the wider community.
