That the Parliament acknowledges the recent report by HIV Scotland, HIV and Education: Guaranteeing Lessons for All; recognises that comprehensive sexual health education plays a fundamental role in equipping young people with the knowledge they need to prevent the risk of sexually transmitted diseases and infections; believes that relationship, sexual health and parenthood guidance should be updated in collaboration with key health stakeholders; supports sexual health professionals and organisations having a visible presence in schools to educate and raise awareness about sexual health, and supports calls for every Scottish school pupil to receive quality relationship, sexual health and parenthood education.
