That the Parliament congratulates the Forth Valley Special Olympics Team on representing the local area at the Sheffield Special Olympic Games in 2017; notes that the Special Olympics gives people with learning disabilities the opportunity to compete in competitive athletic sports and promotes personal independence and social skills among participants, as well as a healthy active lifestyle, and encourages local people to support their Special Olympics athletes as they represent the Forth Valley area in this year’s games.
