That the Parliament congratulates the Right Reverend Dr Robert Gillies on his retirement from the Diocese of Aberdeen and Orkney; notes that "Bishop Bob" served for nine years looking after 43 churches and religious communities across the diocese; recognises the growth in churchgoers over the last decade as a clear example of his continued success in the community, and wishes him all the best in all his future endeavours.
