That the Parliament welcomes the recent founding of the Finnish Scottish Society, which is based in Helsinki; notes that this is a non-political organisation aimed at fostering cultural and social links between Finland and Scotland, as well as being a point of contact for Scots and their families who are in Finland; further welcomes the aim of the society to bring together Scots in Finland and Finns who are interested in Scotland through events and activities, including art, music, food and history, and wishes the society every success in its cross-cultural endeavours.
