Publication Scheme

On Tuesday 15 May 2012, the Scottish Parliament adopted the Single Model Publication Scheme 2012 recommended by the Scottish Information Commissioner.  A Publication Scheme is required by the Freedom Of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 and the new scheme replaces our previous publication scheme. More information is available from the Information Commissioner's website

The adoption period runs until 31 May 2020.

In adopting the Single Model Scheme we have developed a guide to information which:

  • Allows you to see what information is available (and not available) in relation to each class

  • States what charges may be applied

  • Explains how to find information easily

  • Provides contact details for enquiries and to get help with accessing information

  • Explains how to request information that has not been published

  • You can view the Guide here or phone 0131 348 6913 for further information or to request a copy
