Please help Type 1 diabetics gain better control of blood sugars. We are asking the Scottish Parliament to consider the supply of Continuous Glucose Monitors on the NHS. Currently it costs a diabetic around 40-60 pounds for a sensor, which only lasts between 5 and 14 days.
These sensors make a massive difference when a diabetic can monitor sugar levels as often as they need without the need for constant finger pricking. With this monitor they can have more frequent information, can see at a glance their blood sugar levels over a period of time, therefore they can have better control over their diabetes. It really does make a difference. Please take a minute to sign this petition and help make that difference.
