A motion has been laid before the Scottish Parliament nominating Professor Alan Miller (pictured) for reappointment as chair of the Scottish Human Rights Commission.
A motion has also been laid to appoint Lindsey Gallanders as a member of the Standards Commission for Scotland.

S4M-05537 Mary Scanlon on behalf of the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body: Appointment of Member of the Standards Commission for Scotland—That the Parliament agrees, under section 8 of the Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000, to appoint Lindsey Gallanders as a member of the Standards Commission for Scotland.
Subject to the Parliamentary Bureau’s agreement, the motions will be debated on Tuesday 5 February.
