That the Parliament commends Ally MacPherson from Skye, who is known as "Ally K", on embarking on another gruelling challenge, which will see him attempt to run the 180-mile distance between Glasgow and Inverness in just 70 hours to raise money for Highland Hospice; understands that this will be Ally's fourth endurance challenge; congratulates him on his tremendous efforts so far, which have raised £78,000 for various good causes; notes that these have seen him raise money for Cancer Research UK, by becoming the first man on record to run the 125-mile distance around Skye in 35 hours, running from Skye to Inverness non-stop, in aid of Maggie's Highlands, and navigating 10 islands on the west coast in two days, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, and wishes Ally the very best of luck with this latest challenge.

That the Parliament notes that Taiwan is an air traffic hub in east Asia, and that Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport ranked 10th and 6th in the world in 2017 in terms of international passenger and cargo volume respectively; understands that the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) was established for the promotion of world peace and equality of opportunity for all states to develop air transport services; notes with regret that Taiwan has been unable to participate in ICAO meetings, activities and mechanisms; considers that its exclusion from important ICAO discussions on aviation safety, navigation services, security, environmental protection and economic issues will endanger aviation safety, and believes that Taiwan should be able to attend or participate in, even in an observer status, the ICAO Assembly to be held in Montreal, Canada, later in 2019.
