ADVISORY AUDIT BOARD - INDEPENDENT MEMBER
The Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body is seeking to appoint a professionally qualified accountant to its Advisory Audit Board which provides advice to the Parliament’s Clerk/Chief Executive and, where appropriate, the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body on finance, audit, risk and governance matters.
The successful candidate will hold or have held a senior position in academia, the private, public, or voluntary sectors and will have demonstrable technical accounting knowledge and expertise and excellent communication, influencing and relationship building skills.
The time commitment is around 10 days per annum and is remunerated at £312 per day.
