Working in partnership with Inclusion Scotland, we are delighted to offer three Internships based within the Scottish Parliament specifically to provide work experience for disabled people.
These Internships will be based in our Human Resources, Facilities Management, and Committee Offices, and are open to disabled people in Scotland who are currently employed or under-employed. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to gain work experience and develop their skills in a work environment. The roles are for a time limited period of 3 months (based on full time working or longer if part time) and are paid.
The roles are:
• Learning and Development Intern. The purpose of this role is to assist with the planning and delivery of a learning and development programme for staff employed by MSPs.
• Facilities Management Intern. This role will be based within the Space Planning Team and will assist with an audit of the Parliament complex and ensure that electronic plans are accurate and up to date.
• Committees Intern. The Intern will be involved in reviewing how the teams which support Parliamentary committees plan and deliver public engagement.
Further details about the Internships and how to apply can be found on the Inclusion Scotland website.
